HAP 8-6 across The River and Aiken

The earliest season in the archive ran three rounds and 14 matches at The River Golf Club in North Augusta and Aiken Golf Club, and HAP took it 8-6. The workbook never marked the match winners, so the results were reconstructed from the recorded net scores and confirmed line by line; the sequence reconciles exactly to the source's 8-6 final, though the hole-by-hole margins are gone for good. Ross Pulliam had the low net of the week at 213, built on a 63 net in the opening round, and Thomas Clark's 233 was the field's best gross.

HAP's cup, half the scoreboard

Four rounds in Pawleys Island, two at True Blue and two at Caledonia, with 22 matches on the card. HAP won the cup, and for years that was nearly all the record could say, because the workbook's result cells were left blank. A recovered scoreboard photo later restored the ten True Blue matches, which showed HAP ahead 5.5-4.5 at the halfway mark, with the 7&5 best-ball win by Heath Myers and Ben Taylor standing as the largest recovered margin. A 17-match Classic goes to HAP, 10.75-6.25

The Sandhills trip covered Pine Needles, Southern Pines, and Mid Pines, but weather cancelled the third round outright, so the cup was decided over 17 matches and HAP won 10.75-6.25. Bradham Wilder's last-minute absence forced three solo-versus-two matches, each split into two nine-hole halves; at Mid Pines, Will Lawson played one of them alone and beat Sam Salvato 2&1 on the front nine and Rhett Postal 1-up on the back to take the full point by himself. BOC's best stretch came in the Southern Pines round, won 3.25-1.75.

Sand Valley: HAP 12-8, built on Day 1

The Classic went to Sand Valley in Wisconsin, playing Mammoth Dunes, Sedge Valley, and the namesake course, and HAP won 12-8. The damage was all on Day 1: HAP took the Mammoth Dunes scramble 3-1 and the Sedge Valley four-ball 3-1 for a 6-2 lead. BOC played HAP dead even on Day 2, splitting the Sand Valley four-ball 2-2 and the closing singles 4-4, but the Day 1 hole was too deep to climb out of. Max McClure and Henry Atkins each went 4-0 for HAP.
